Natalie Drummond is a former educator and an artisan living in Fort Wayne, Indiana focusing on fiber. Born and raised in Virginia, she developed a love of science, teaching, and sewing. Earlier work focused on sewing clothes and making items for the home. This interest led her to develop work in felting, weaving, and sewing handwoven cloth. Weaving looms include an 8-shaft Wolf Pup, Baby Macomber, and Inklet as she prefers to weave with fine
threads. She is a member of the Fort Wayne Weavers' Guild and serves as Vice President of programming. She also maintains a membership with the Fredericksburg Spinners and Weavers. Natalie loves to travel and take weaving classes with noted weavers and felters. Her work is found daily at the Orchard Gallery of Fine Arts. Handwovens have been exhibited in Georgia: Color: Classic to Contemporary exhibit, locally at First Gallery, the History Center, and Crestwoods Gallery. Some of her favorite experiences include her first drawing class in Montmartre, France and taking a course in craftsmanship and design at Indiana Purdue University at Fort Wayne.
